Company history

History of Composit Airplanes spol. s r.o. starts in 1992. At that time we started in SRN at RANS company with construction of ultra-light plane COYOTE R6 and SACOTA S10. After this 1 year cooperation we moved to Czech Republic. By building-up of a reliable background we made our first step into a aircraft industry.

First order for our little company was just from RANS company for its’ German customers. We have built seven airplanes and five kits of full-laminated plane PULSAR. In the 1995 Composit Airplanes linked a cooperation with TL-ULTRALIGHT company and immediately signed a order for covering of all 160 items of produced planes CONDOR.

Thanks to fast growing popularity of ultralight planes in our country and thanks to entry of new materials, our company learned that the success of quality work and maintenance of modern trends on the market it is to produce with modern materials and new technology. This technology is based especially on laminating - glass, carbon and kevlar fiber – connected with epoxy resin etc. In a very short time we created a top quality production backgroun, with very quality conditions for this specific work. Enviroment in which we produce is fully air-conditioned and dehumidificated, it meets all strictest parametres.

In the year 1999 our company entered a strategic contact with a giant acrobatic and traffic airplanes of EXTRA type. For this manufacturer we deliver most of laminated parts. Definitive advantage of our work for our customer is, that we are able to start from a model, then create design and production of special form.

First award

2001 Composit Airplanes spol. s r.o. is winning a third place on the aerial fair in Jihlava for development of technology for planes production. Thanks to the award of our work that we appreciate.

2002

Year 2002 was a year of completion. It is dealing with 2 big projects, which were properly finished by disposition of the prototype to the customer:

• a production of hydroplane for German customer. Aircraft was completely built in this year including production of forms and first aircrafts on the water surface Náklo. In the year 2005 already certified serial production will start.
• finishing of the forms for ultra light sail plane APIS and production of first prototypes started. It is a all laminate sail plane with auxiliary, to the back of the hull packing engine HIRT. Single-place sail-plane with great gliding will satisfy even the most hard to please silent flight lover.

2003

In the year 2003 - a serial production of many airplanes, company is hiring another employees

April 2003 we participated in AERO 2003 fair for the first time. This fair is held in FRIEDRICHSTAFEN. On this exhibition several companies were found, to which we still deliver some laminate parts.

The end of 2003 was very interesting for the company. Company BILSING AUTOMATION (is engaged in production of robots and all mechanization and automatization for automobile industry) contacted us with the chance of cooperation. Already in last two months of proceeding year, several carbon gibs were produced.

This production is still proceeding and gibs for lines of many renowned car and bus manufacturers.

2004

Year 2004 is a year of investment. After many years of leases we bouhgt buildings we currently manufacture in and where we can optimize all production for our purposes.
